In celebration of The International Day of Girls, students with an interest in STEM are invited to join Merrimac State High School's World Champion STEAM Academy coaches and teams for 3 fun-filled days of hands-on activities.
The event will commence with an introduction to the VEX IQ robotics platform flowing into a series of activities and challenges designed for students from grades 4-6. Students will then form teams and build a robot to compete in the 2019 Queensland VEX IQ Robotics Challenge to be held at Merrimac State High School on the 9th of November 2019 (registration fees are included in cost of camp). All robotics equipment will be provided as well as prizes and giveaways. Grab your friends, talk to your parent and register. Be quick though as we only have a limited number of spots. Don't forget to pack your own lunch and be ready to have fun building some seriously cool robots.
