Emily is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) since 2015. Emily has previously worked in rehabilitation and private practice within the community.
Emily's approach to psychological intervention comes from a genuine interest for a student's emotional wellbeing and development. Emily takes a person-centred, holistic and non-judgemental approach to therapy.
Emily has extensive experience in providing a range of evidence-based treatments including CBT, ACT and DBT and is also an EFT (Tapping) trained practitioner. Her areas of interest include anxiety, depression, trauma, crisis management, stress management, self-esteem and confidence, abuse and interpersonal relationships.
Emily is on campus Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and every second Friday. Parents and students are welcome to self-refer or contact a Guidance Officer for more information about appointments and the psychological intervention service. Emily can be found in the Student Support Office behind the Guidance Offices.
